ALZA'S STORY
Alza started as a vision in Lucia's heart back in 2018. Having navigated the corporate world for over 18 years, she recognized a powerful opportunity to create something that would truly elevate communities through transformative leadership and strategic guidance. For years, Lucia purposefully built her "toolbox" of skills, experiences, and relationships, preparing to one day launch an organization that would help build future-ready communities and workplaces.
In October 2024, after 20 years of corporate experience and leadership, Lucia's vision became reality with the official launch of Alza. The name itself embodies the organization's purpose – to elevate, rise up, and empower both individuals and organizations to reach their highest potential.

Lucia brings over 20 years of global finance and leadership experience to Alza. Born in Ecuador and arriving in the US at 17, her journey embodies resilience and determination. With an accounting degree from UW-Milwaukee and an MBA from Marquette University, Lucia has led diverse teams across Fortune 500 companies including Rockwell Automation, Pentair, and Kohler. Her expertise in strategic planning, financial transformation, and building inclusive workplaces forms the foundation of Alza's approach. As a recognized community leader and recipient of the National Young Hispanic Corporate Achiever Award, and National Step Ahead Award, Lucia combines corporate excellence with a passion for elevating communities and creating pathways for underrepresented voices.
Veronica brings strategic financial expertise and a commitment to empowering organizations through sound financial practices. Her background includes managing a $6 billion portfolio and implementing tax strategies that saved organizations over 20% in costs. As a former auditor for the Wisconsin Department of Revenue, she brings deep knowledge of compliance and regulations to Alza's financial services. Veronica has developed financial training programs for business owners and excels in creating internal controls that ensure organizational stability. Her combination of technical expertise and commitment to financial empowerment makes her instrumental in Alza's mission to provide strategic financial guidance to communities.
Alicia combines organizational development expertise with cultural intelligence to help organizations create inclusive, future-ready workforces. With a background in human resources, customer success and diversity strategies, she specializes in designing assessment tools that measure organizational culture and psychological safety. Alicia has implemented customized solutions that reflect real community needs. Her talent for building bridges between diverse stakeholders and facilitating transformative change complements Alza's mission of elevating communities through innovative workforce solutions.
